May 19th-25th is National Dog Bite Prevention Week. Now, we see a lot of dogs that have bitten so preventing those bites is of utmost concern to us. Each day in our practice we educate owners on the importance of reading their dog’s body language, avoiding situations that may trigger a bite, as well as behavioral modification techniques that may prevent future biting. Throughout this week we’ll be sharing information to help prevent dog bites now and in the future. Throughout the week, please check (and share!) our facebook and twitter feeds for educational tips and videos.
